AGD Involvement

Alpha Gamma Delta allows women the opportunity for leadership. Our sisters are involved in a variety of organizations on the University of Central Missouri campus. One of the best parts of being a member of Alpha Gamma Delta is that no matter the activity, our sisters will support each other and participate in various activities with each other. Alpha Gamma Delta supports each woman in her quest to fulfill her potential.

Homecoming

During Homecoming we participate in activities and support our Homecoming Queen. Last year Katie Thomas (front), our Queen Candidate, was one of the top 10 finalists. Here, we are getting ready for Cheer which we participated in with the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.

Walk-a-Thon

Every year we organize philanthropic events in order to raise money for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which funds diabetes research. This year we plan on organizing the 1st annual AGD Walk-a-Thon.

Initiation

Every semester we hold an Initiation ceremony where our newest members, after an 8 week new member educational program, become active members.

Recruitment

Recruitment is a special time for Alpha Gams because we get to welcome new members into our special sisterhood. Here is a picture of our chapter before the Preferences round of Recruitment.

Greek Week

Greek Week is a time where we can show off our pride and loyalty toward our chapter. Each year we nominate a goddess and participate in the many events held during the week such as Cheer, Variety Show and Games Day.

Socials

Each semester we put on socials, which are simply events that we organize for sisterhood and bonding. We can have socials with other fraternities and sororities or socials to which we bring a date. In the fall we hold our annual MASH Bash where we dress up in camoflauge.
